I voted by absentee ballot earlier in the week. It is hard for me to get to the voting place, stand in line, stand in the booth, etc. So I voted from home. I really liked having the time to look over all the propositions and amendments carefully. that’s something I felt pressured to never do in the voting booth; too many others waiting to vote. I’m so proud to be a voter

Karen, I’m proud to be a voter too! And I’m happy you voted. Absentee sounds nice. I didn’t feel pressured so much because there were people waiting (because there weren’t any waiting.) but because I’d been standing there forever. They need stools to sit on. LOL
On the uphand, we had the electronic voting machines and those were easier than last time but I’m not sure how much I trust an electronic voting system. But hey, I voted! I feel good. Kinda like working out for an hour. Feels real good.

It’s good to see other authors out voting… and chatting about the fact that they voted.
