Give me my HEA
How about a Monday with Madison?
This post over at CoffeeTime made me wonder exactly what it is I love so much about the Happily Ever After in a romance novel. I guess I just feel like everyone should have one, even characters. And if I were running the world, the number one rule would be “everyone has a right to love.” Both to love, be loved, and be in love.
But back to HEA… there’s just something satisfying about knowing that two people found each other and they’re supposed to be together. I guess I see so many people in real life and wonder if they’re really supposed to be, meant to be together.
I love that feeling that I get that everything is right in the world. That there’s hope. Hope that I’ll find love and that I’ll have a chance at happiness too.
I like to sigh at the end of the book. I like to close the pages and wish the book weren’t over. I like to think about the characters and be happy for them. I like to smile.
And HEAs make me smile.
What is it that you love about HEAs?
