MEET CRYSTAL REED

Crystal Reed is the heroine in Slow Burn. While some would call her a beauty, she thinks she’s just another girl. She’s originally from Miami Florida and she got a Master’s degree in Illinois. She had to get away for a while. But now she’s back and loving the warm (ok HOT!) weather, gorgeous scenery (look at the pic of her condo on the right!), and the unique culture that is Miami.

While Crystal was looking for a job as a librarian, she had to find a way to pay the bills. When a friend told her she could be a stripper she laughed. She couldn’t be a stripper, could she? Weren’t strippers kind of trashy? And unrespectable? Well, like the woman Crystal is, she did some research and found out that strippers come from all walks of life. No they’re not trashy. And yes, they are respectable. So when she found a classy club to work at she signed up and raked in the dough.

But that’s just the beginning of Crystal’s tale. You’ll need to read the book to find out the rest.

MEET GARRETT VARTAN

A Texas native, Garrett moved to Miami for a job at a local radio station. He’s not particularly glued to a particular location, but Miami definitely has its advantages. Beautiful weather, beautiful women, beautiful beaches.
